How Event Sponsors make a difference in their community– Each Event Sponsor is allowing Big Brothers Big Sisters to financially sustain the operational costs associated with an After School Mentoring Site.  In 2008 we will have four sites in the Elizabethtown/Donegal area, five sites in Lancaster City and two sites in Cocalico, serving well over 100 youth with high school and college mentors.   Event sponsors help to make this growth possible.

How BBBS 40th anniversary sponsors make a difference in their community:  40th anniversary sponsors will help to make our 40th year of agency service our strongest ever!  Sponsoring at this level will help the agency reach our $100,000 benchmark for Bowl For Kids’ Sake.  This growth in revenue will help us carry out a brand-new Hispanic Mentoring Initiative, enabling us to significantly increase the number of volunteers that we recruit from the Hispanic communities of Lancaster.

How Lane Sponsors make a difference in their community– Each Lane sponsor is allowing Big Brothers Big Sisters to maintain our agency website for two months.  This website is becoming a vital part of our program.  It allows parents, volunteers, clients and donors to keep abreast of updates, sponsors and upcoming events.  It also allows potential volunteers and clients to obtain information on our programs as we grow to meet the needs of Lancaster County.

How “Sponsor a Little” sponsors make a difference in their community– Through our mentoring programs we work to ensure each Little Brother or Sister becomes a confident, competent and caring individual.  Each mentoring relationship is strongly encouraged to participate in community service activities to assist in that endeavor.  It is often difficult for the Littles to participate in fundraising activities.  Your company or organization will be allowing a child to see the importance of giving back to their community.
