AFTER-SCHOOL
MENTORING PROGRAM

This program is offered at elementary schools in the Elizabethtown and Donegal School Districts.

Mondays-Riverview, 3:30-5:00pm
Tuesdays-Bainbridge, 3:30-5:00pm
Wednesdays-Rheems, 3:30-5:00pm
Thursdays-East High, 3:30-5:00pm

Students in grades 2-5 are eligible.  Each student is matched with a Big Brother/Big Sister.  Mentors are high school or college students.  Activities include homework help, board games, crafts, snack, and outdoor play.  Program is supervised by agency caseworker.

New CB Mentor Training
All new Community-Based mentors must attend a training
session before being matched.  The next training(s) will be held:
Tuesday, April 22 (5:30-7:30pm) at the Main Office
Tuesday, May 13 (4:30-6:30pm) at the Main Office

RSVP at least 3 days prior to the training date
you are attending, 397-7567.

COMMUNITY-BASED
MENTORING PROGRAM

This program is offered to children who live in the Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, Marietta, Bainbridge, and Manheim area.

Girls, age 6-14 and boys, age 7-14 are eligible.  Each child is matched with a
Big Brother/Big Sister.  Matches meet 
2-3 times per month and activities are
based on shared interests, i.e. going to the park, playing sports, baking cookies.
Mentors are college students or adults living/working in the area.  Married couples may also mentor together as a Big Couple.  Agency caseworker provides match support.
